Origin / History - MT. Hood is a triploid aroma-type cultivar, teh 1983 result of a cross between the colchicine - induced teraploid female Hallertau M.F. (USDA 21397) AND THE (USDA 19058M),MALE PLANT. iT IS A half-sister to Ultra, Liberty and Crystal.
Grown and plugged right here in the United States, these hop plugs are the freshest available. Our hops are kept frozen at 32 degrees F before being plugged and once they are plugged, they are vacuum sealed in oxygen / light barrier bags and refrozen. Our bags are labeled with the crop year, plugging date, and harvest alpha.
